  1. I’m completely unable to process the double standards that everyone has for the Right and Left.

Take the “Chimp-in-Chief” moniker. How was it ok for W?

Perhaps this is how the libs will win: by twisting the very fabric of the universe, they will cause people like me to suffer complete brain failure.

  2. I thought that the prior chimp in chief was calling for consent, otherwise to be against the War on (T)Error in Iraq was to be against the soldiers and everybody that believed in God.

The apparent difference between now and way back then is that back then, the people that had issues with the war didn’t actively call and hope for its failure. That’s a critical difference.

  3. Setting aside the truth value of Mr. Price’s assertion about open calls for failure of a war…

Mr. Price appears to have difficulty distinguishing between an expressed hope for failure of ruinous economic and social policies, and that of a war. The latter is, frankly, disloyal to the nation, while the former is dissent — the highest form of patriotism.

Obviously, no change. BDS survived the election and is still going strong.

So, calling for troops to shoot their officers was intended as a step toward the war’s success?

  6. MG, I can’t recall anybody asking that Bush’s war fails. I know I wasn’t for it to start with. With two sons and a daughter that are MPs in the Army and all three of them serving 15 month deployments in Iraq, I sure as hell was hoping that Bush was successful. And that is a totally different sentiment then from what Limbaugh is expressing now. Maybe it’s a nuance that you can’t perceive. Limbaugh, Hannity, Malkin et al., would have been all over somebody saying that when the war started. Certainly nobody of Limbaugh’s stature.

And I’m really not sure that I understand the difference between what you call the failure of a ruinous economic and social policy versus what I would call a ruinous empire building war policy. One persons dissent is another persons disloyalty at this junction.

Let me be clear on this. Limbaugh can say whatever he wants to say. It’s still a free country that I’m aware of. But don’t be surprised at the outrage. Dissent against dissent is just as high a form of patriotism.

As far as the economic policy, that is beyond my ken. It works or it fails, The setup for it has been totally out of the current chimp in chief’s hands, and if it’s a train wreck, it’s going to be a big one. There’s going to be enough blame to go around for all the parties. I don’t think cheering for the economic destruction of this country is a good thing however.

  7. I don’t think cheering for the economic destruction of this country is a good thing however.

Who is cheering for the economic destruction of this country, other than leftists?

Wanting Obama’s continuing attempts to wreck the economy to fail are not synonymous with wanting the country to fail, sorry.

  8. Munch, munch, munch… this popcorn is tasting so good.

    Carry on Rand, carry on…

(and yes, I am enjoying watching this enormously.)

  9. I am enjoying watching this enormously.

Am I supposed to care? Is anyone?

Do you have some sort of point, or do you just like to see your name in comments?

  10. “…who now says he wants an American president to fail?!”

If the writer couldn’t get the Limbaugh quote right, why should I believe the rest of his blathering? But, like many other boobs, he get the “quote” From Huffington, or Kos or Olbermann, AND NEVER heard the original, and in context, quote.

I agree that the Republicans have left their conservative ideals in the dust, but lying, or half-truthing, against them doesn’t help anyone but the Liberal Democrats.
