I tried to read this, but can’t help but some up with further questions. Why not just release the video and disprove all the rumors? Why take so long to “disprove” it? Why such an obscure (at least in the US) source for this “disproval”. Why should I believe any MSM reporter, anyhow? Why aren’t other people who were there saying the same thing?
Raoul, lots of people who were there said there was no gaffe, and they said so at the time. The lack of a gaffe was obvious from reading Fox News’ account of the event, when they first reported it. The link to Fox’s story is in my comment to Rand’s first blog post about this non-gaffe.
There are so many other gaffes that I’m happy to spot him one.
Although those us us who have a low regard for Barack Obama’s politics and wisdom are quickly correcting the record about the supposed teleprompter gaffe, I haven’t seen any such trend on the left.
I don’t suppose there’s any way to persuade the “progressives” even to quit spreading the canard about “Bush’s plastic turkey,” is there?
I’ll be happy when they properly start to take claim for their part in the “failed economic policies of the last 8 years; that we inherited(but really gave to ourselves)”.
