Speaking of rights, is there anything on Earth that would stop industry, like the Law of the Sea welfare program?
Excuse me, that should read “stop industry in space”.
I generally just directly contribute money to the NRA at gun shows. The main reason for doing it his way was just illustrated by the recent DHS report. You never know when being a member could become a job issue with the government. The secondary reason is that it frees them from having to mail me the magazine and hence they get more bang for my buck.
I was distressed at the last show I attended to see the NRA booth to be ill manned with no identifying banners and totally disorganized. Overconfidence? Given the nature of this administration I think that would be a huge mistake.
Interesting development. Unfortunately, now any increases in membership they claim can be dismissed by others due to the free offer.
