I’m deeply troubled after reading that story. I might need to go out and get me some ice cream to feel better.
I wonder who started the “bullet fee”? I know the Chinese do that too. That’s really obnoxious even by totalitarian standards.
The regime doesn’t want the people to realize the power they have. The bullet fee is just a way of keeping them feeling powerless.
