It was also mentioned that the National Security Advisor, General James Jones, who happens to be Bolden’s former boss, is running a review of all space programs, military and civilian.
He also said we need to go to Mars.
He didn’t say when.
NASA survives on congressional politics. It has survived on it for past 30+ years without accomplishing much ( at least in manned spaceflight part ).
The “current path” can be summed up as one failed plan after another. ( And yes, STS failed by its own standards as well )
