  1. You read and see those and then look at the criticism of Palin not being ready for prime time and laugh. I have to think even if you include the parodies from Tina Fey, she doesn’t sound that stupid.

  2. The funny thing is, I knew some people who said the press wasn’t covering enough of Bush’s gaffes. They complained about the right-bias of the MSM.

  3. I understand there’s an office in the Capitol specifically set aside for the vice-president, since he’s the ex officio president of the Senate. I’ve also heard there’s a “keep out” sign on the door consisting of Biden’s picture and the caption, “You must be at least this stupid to enter.”

I gather that’s where Biden has his meetings with Shrieker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

  4. What does it say of Obama that he chose Biden as his VP? Aside from the fact Biden is a joke, why did Obama think it was a good thing? What was so appealing?

My theory is that they share the same know-it-all narcissistic character, and therefore meshed well as compatible personalities. In other words, Obama likes Biden because they are the same.

  5. He fantasized that Biden would add credibility on the foreign policy front, to those unfamiliar with how wrong he’s been on every major foreign policy issue for decades.

  6. Obama never has a back-up plan. Biden was the only choice he could come up with on short notice when his original, mind-made-up decision went and got himself caught cheating on his wife and aparently fathering a child with the other woman.

Biden as VP is a very good life insurance plan for Obama as president. The thought of Biden becoming president is enough to remove any and all doubts about a secret service agent (or even me) being willing to catch a bullet for Obama.

  8. Biden looks bad for those of us who would have preferred Palin. But one wonders how happy those Clinton supporters are? Particularly those who thought the least Obama could do was pick her as a Vice President. Not that she would have been as good a pick for Obama’s health as Biden.
