How exactly do we “not let them?” By some recent polls some 60%+ of the electorate does not want them to pass this health care bill, yet they seem intent on doing it anyway. I have written my congressmen many times, asking them to vote against this health care bill and promising to donate to their opponents (and the opposite party in close races in other locales) if they vote to pass this monstrosity (which I will). The 50 percent-ish of the country that is pro-life doesn’t seem to be screaming about the fact that the senate killed an amendment that would have kept their tax money from paying for abortions. How exactly can we stop something these politicians are determined to pass no matter how bad it is and when the population doesn’t want it? And when it seems like half the country isn’t even paying attention?
