I keep trying to listen to this interview with Lori Garver by Brian Berger, but it keeps dying about nine minutes in. I was unable to listen in real time last week because the connection was so bad. I hope that Space News releases a transcript (which I’d prefer anyway, in the interest of time, and citations).

Rand, it went right through for me. However, at the very start of the download, the video started, and then stopped. At that point I was distracted, and by the time I returned the whole thing had downloaded(about 20 minutes to do that), from which point it ran with no problems. A good interview, in which Lori was repeatedly asked about funding for Orion/Escape eating the money for other technical development needed.
Yeah, I got this to work. Good interview (although the production values are a bit awkward.)
I find Garver accessible and clear-minded. I think she did a nice job explaining why “re-stacking” Shuttle assets doesn’t get us much beyond big launches twice a year to nowhere-in-particular.
