Things are falling apart in Egypt pretty rapidly. As Michael Totten says, the good guys are vastly outnumbered. And this administration has no plan.

What makes you think the coverage is naive? More likely they know that this will lead to the destruction of Israel and, eventually, America, and are thrilled by it.
