Have to say I’m more impressed lately with his shows willingness to skewer the Obama administration while playing the supposedly ignorant obama fanboi character right up until each moment of denoument.
Stewart is often an ideologue, but rarely a partisan one, which at least puts him ahead of most of his sad competition. He’ll still happily turn a blind eye to honest liberal stupidity, but he at least treats self-proclaimed-liberal stupidity and even stupidity from otherwise-liberal targets as fair game.
