The Script That Bombed

I hate when this happens:

A writer desperate to get a movie script read suffered the ultimate rejection Thursday when police blew up a briefcase he said contained the screenplay after an agent refused to read it, police said.

Just another day in Tinseltown. Maybe he can work up a treatment on the story. It would at least be a good opener.

  1. It would be irony of ironies if that happened to be the screenplay for the “killing of Bin Ladin” movie…..

  2. So … … … Was it a bomb or not? I guess the police thought so. Now we may never know the opinion of the movie going public.

  3. That same thing happened to me dozens of times when I was in school. But the teachers never believed me when I reported my homework had been blown up. I think I’ll forward this link to all of them…

  4. His idea must have been original, that’s why they had to kill it!

All they make out there now is re-makes, or movies based on video games, cartoons, comic books or they are ongoing hack ’em up serials. That’s why he couldn’t get it past an agent! (is there really a difference if the slasher uses a saw, a knife, or his finger nails)

He was about to make all the other ‘script writers’ look bad, and feel bad, and that’s not fair.
