More Shocking News

Eric Holder, part of the most transparent administration in history, seems to have lied to Congress:

New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious guns operation as far back as July of 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.

On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.”

Or maybe he just has a lousy memory. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I wonder when the other networks will start to follow CBS’s lead?

Oh, and again, I’m not really shocked.

      1. Holder will go down in history as the man who proved that ghosts do not exist – because if they did, Koresh WOULD be available for comment. He’d be beyond furious that the agencies that came down on his piffly gun dealership operation were aiding and abetting Mexican drug cartels’ arms buildup.

Hope they don’t get any Libyan SAMs.

  1. It was a case of natural forgetfulness. No wait, Holder misunderstood the question. No wait, Holder knew of the program, but didn’t know of the “details”. There’s a lot of spin on this right now, worthy of an MLB pitcher.

  2. It’s not like lying to congress is a real crime. It was just a little white lie. Perfectly innocent. The real crime is going after him. The media should be ashamed. Don’t they have real news to report on. Move along folks. It’s not like anyone died or anything. Right?

Five years per count is just silly. We’re healing the world here and you know what it takes to make an omelette.
