No, the biggest problem with Leftists is that they are completely ignorant of real-world economics and they want to force their utter stupidity on everyone else.
Their lack of a sense of irony ranks somewhat lower on their list of problems.
I would argue their lack of irony is their biggest asset. Without it their entertainment value goes to zero.
A toddler playing with a toy gun can be amusing. A toddler with his hands on a loaded pistol is a danger to everyone including himself. Leftists are like the toddler with the loaded gun – immature, ignorant, irrational and dangerous.
Their dangerousness is related to their ability to vote and ability to convince others to vote as they do. The second one is far greater, and is lessened by the volume of laughter they receive. And at the level of parody, any message they wish to convey becomes completely lost and, ideally, turned back on itself.
