  1. They found out myself and likely Instapundit stockpiled a 100 year supply and did this to get back at us.

These thing are cheap, I bought like 20 packs.

  2. Not quite. The law is still on the books. Congress just removed the money to enforce it in 2012.

Manufacturers will still be strongly pressured because there’s no telling what will be in the 2013 budget.

  3. Looking at WUWT, Edward’s right. I think the big retailers will still have to go through with the ban.

  4. There’s this concept called “compromise” in which one side gives up something that it wanted in exchange for something the other side wanted. I realize that’s a foreign concept around these parts, but humans have been doing it for millions of years.

If you’re going to give something away, a Bush-era rule on light bulbs sponsored by a Texas Republican congressman is probably high on the list to give away.

  5. There’s this concept called “compromise” in which one side gives up something that it wanted in exchange for something the other side wanted you give me 99% of what I want so that I’ll only spit on your every other time I walk past you.

    FTFY.
