  1. They had a live stream of the dragon doing its approach to the ISS last night at 11:45.

  2. I’m kind of curious how the astronauts on ISS will feel when they spend a little time inside Dragon. This is a cargo capsule that has windows after all, and is essentially just a forerunner of the manned Dragon in development. I wonder if any of them will feel a hint of excitement at the idea that they are inside a vehicle that is so very close to being able to carry humans into orbit and put the USA back on the map in manned spaceflight.

    1. I think I remember reading somewhere that NASA insisted that cargo Dragon not have windows for some reason.

      1. The windows in the pressure hull are indeed covered/bolted shut. NASA might have had something to do with it, or it was just SpaceX’s decision to minimize risks. Or a combination thereof.

The windows will most likely be covered by cargo racks anyway – so it might not make much sense.

      2. Eliminate any risk of banging something hard and heavy into a window while unloading the cargo, with potentially catastrophic results, when a window is completely unnecessary to the mission. Also, if the crew on the ISS didn’t pay for a window seat, they’re by gosh not going to get a window seat.

  3. Seems like it would of been a good idea to put an “Eat at Joe’s” neon sign on the side of that thing.
