Damn. So sorry to see this news. Temporary Duty was a really entertaining read, made me think of good ol’ ’50’s sci-fi. I hit his tip jar and gifted a copy of Temporary Duty to my son as well. Rand, I think I saw of it here first, so thanks for passing on the original ref and also for passing on this new, sad news.
