Last year, Kickstarter funded the arts more than the National Endowment for the Arts. And it’s funding things that people actually want to fund, rather than having bureaucrats give taxpayers’ money to women to smear chocolate on themselves.

Actually, it was chocolate, but it was supposed to represent something else…
But we can’t trust people’s generosity when it comes to supporting things they like and we need the government to support art that people don’t like ensuring that the people have access to bad art. This is why we have a government after all.
