The deer is obviously a racist hate monger who should meets its deserved fate (the backyard grill, after being well marinated) for such a hate crime.

It’s possible that the deer was targeting the color of the sign, blue. I don’t know, not having seen the other political signs that the deer has allegedly left alone.
But I recall hearing a story of a Yellowstone elk bull who really went after blue tents. This might be the same sort of thing.
Globally, red is the communist’s color.
Can somebody explain to me how in the USA the Dems ended up with blue and the Republicans use red? I don’t know any other place that has this reversal. Do these colors pre-date the left?
IIRC, the “Red=Republican, Blue=Democrat” theme dates back to the 2000 election. The news media made the selection that way because “Red=Democrat” hit too close to home.
