The 77-year-old former defensive tackle has been given only a few days to live, the Detroit Free Press reports.
He was a great player.
..and seemed like a pretty nice guy too.
Keeping in mind that I wasn’t a Hawkeye fan until I moved to Iowa 12 years ago, I still had no idea growing up that “Mr. Papadapolis” was a pretty big deal for the Hawkeyes, let alone Detroit.
