  1. Unless you’re a believer in “extreme weather”. Then anything worth stuffing in a newspaper is a sign.

    I find it interesting how large the error bars are for CO2 forcing of global mean temperature. This is supposedly the core of AGW theory and the part most solidly grounded in physics. Yet I routinely see huge errors (factor of two difference between top and bottom) and consistent overestimates of this factor.

    Why are we supposed to develop all these AGW mitigation efforts and reparations at great cost when the basic science is so much in doubt?
