  1. It’s got nothing to do with the name, which is fairly common. According to nameanalyzer.net there are 97000 people with the surname Castro in the US alone.

      1. My sarc detector is operating at below nominal voltage this morning. Not enough caffeine in the veins.

      2. Its hard to tell on your blog what is a joke anymore. Sad, as it was once a good place to discuss space policy.

    1. “‘Its hard to tell on your blog what is a joke anymore.’

“Most people don’t have that problem.”

I don’t! I mean, Moby’s spoofs of Tea Party Derangement Syndrome are satire, aren’t they?

  2. Matula is just bummed, because he was stupid enough to claim the “Innocence of Muslims” video was like claiming “fire!” in a crowded theater, and thus not protected speech. He’s at least smart enough not to dare comment in a Benghazi thread, so he comes here to make some stupid remark.

Buck up Matula, you can always go hang out at Amerispace. Nobody here will notice.

    1. Leland,

Yes, and I also don’t comment on blogs that believe Reptilians are running everything, which is about the level discussion on this Blog has descended to in recent years in terms of politics and conspiracy theories. It is really sad to see how President Obama has pushed so many folks like Rand and you over the edge. I guess its just guilt for not supporting/voting for Senator McCain in 2008.

  3. “It is really sad to see how President Obama has pushed so many folks like Rand and you over the edge.”

And by “over the edge” Moby means “in the direction of liberty.” Oh, wait, I forgot, Moby’s pro-freedom, too! He says so. It’s just a mere coincidence that his comments almost always mirror whatever the Hive’s current party line is.

AND NOW . . . “Mobies Through History.” Squire Thomas Matula, closet Tory, writing to Thomas Paine in 1776: “Dear Mr. Paine, it grieves me, reading your latest screed, to see how King George has pushed you over the edge into the camp of Samuel Adams and those other dangerous Tea Partiers. Now, please do not misunderstand, I am as much for liberty as Mr. Jefferson or Mr. Franklin, but. . . .”
