1. Yes, they have paid to ultimate price to protect America. They deserve our blessings, prayers and gratitude.

2. On my blog I use the “Countries I visited” map to highlight all the nations where US troops have fallen, with a list of the various conflicts.

   Note some of the recent conflicts:

   Hezbollah Al-Hejaz attack on Khobar Towers, Saudi Arabia (1996)
   Egyptian Islamic Jihad bombings of embassies in Kenya and Tanzania (1998)
   Al-Qaeda attack on USS Cole (2000)
   Ansar al-Sharia attack on consulate in Libya (2012)

   I bring this up as a reminder that al-Qaeda isn’t the only jihadist organization at war with us.
