  1. President Sheldon Cooper doesn’t need to consult with anyone about anything! He’s the smartest man in any room, above the law and a legend in his own mind.

    1. This isn’t arrogance. This is the road to Hugo Chavez . . . weren’t all his decrees in the name of the middle class/the people/the poor? And he was immensely popular as he wrecked his country. Yeah, those pesky moneyed elites who know which popular and populist policies are madness.

I am not saying the President has to consult a lawyer, and he has the White House Counsel and the Solicitor General and many to choose from. The President couldn’t even give one reason, one flimsy excuse why what he wanted to do indeed follows the law that he pushed through Congress and then signed. Not one “the law says ‘on or after’ and the Administration is basing its decision on the authority to come out with an orderly implementation” or anything of the sort.

Our country has a great tradition of litigation (thanks, Ralph Nader). As soon as some sharpies can find persons with standing, the President will find out soon enough when the lawsuits being.
