I think it’s because they are idiots. And as Glenn notes, if they tried this some place where guns were legal, they’d have likely been shot, with full justification. Which might have a tendency to discourage this kind of idiocy.
The post overlooked the wimpy bikes and inclusion of quads in their “gang”.

If the bikers had guns, we might have ended up with 3-7 dead people.
What I could see on the helmet cam footage was the SUV bumped and ran over a biker,
stopped, things got tense, and then the SUV driver ran over 3 bikers, and then things got out of control.
What started as a traffic accident became much uglier much faster. Running over people isn’t a practical response.
Dude, you are just plaing full of shit. Just about every ‘thought’ in that post is pure idiocy and as wrong as dogs and cats fucking . Your response is so retarded, it is not worthy of the dignity of a point-by-point response.

What was the more practical response when you’re suddenly surrounded by an angry mob? Remember police are minutes away. Get that response wrong and you and your family might be dead by then.
Using our amazing power of hindsight, we can also note that this group caused similar trouble before and apparently threw the videos on the internet. So it’s reasonable to expect that the bikers in question were looking for trouble and it wasn’t just coincidence and misunderstanding.
Further, it comes out today that the one who got in the truck driver’s way and got hit has a long criminal history, going back to when he was twelve, and includes several stints in jail.

It is painfully clear that you have not read anything about this incident or just simply ignored what happened in its entirety.
Here’s a quick run-down.
These motorcyclists were riding all over the road and causing problems because they were ignoring all types of traffic laws. One rider said the man in the RR ‘cut off’ one of the riders (there were more than 40, and one article mentioned almost 100). So, the one guy who has no understanding of basic physics rides directly in front of the RR and hits his brakes. Shockingly, the 3000 + lb SUV can’t stop as quickly and hits him. They all stop and man in RR calls police. Riders began to beat on all sides of his car and are screaming at him. At least one of his tires were slashed with a knife. As he becomes surrounded, he fears for his life and hits gas to get out of there. Again, there was another fool who doesn’t understand that his bike and his legs are no match for a powerful SUV. Go figure. RR speeds away and is chased. As his car becomes unstable due to flat tire, he gets off and stops on ramp. One biker opens the rear door (where his child is sitting) and he speeds away. Second time, he gets stopped in traffic and bikers break his window, punch window by his child, and drag him from SUV. They stomp him and slash his face.
ALL of this was caused by the escalation by the bikers. If they just left him alone, all would be OK. If they let him call police after the first incident, then all would be ok. Instead, they felt that they would be the law and resorted to violence.
By the way, pretty manly to attack a man, woman, and child with 40+ people. Idiots!!!
