  1. Five score and two years ago I was conceived by marxists and born in Kenya so my mother snuck me into this nation by way of Hawaii’s loose recording system (she had to wait until I was born to get on the plane in those days) so that I was miraculously born in three different hospitals (trinity, messiah, anyone?)

We are now engaged in the fundamental transformation of America testing whether we can never again lose an election to anyone but those we’ve selected for you. We have dedicated your earning to our leisure (throwing around enough stolen tax payola to keep the idiots useful.)

But in a larger sense, we are just plain lying our asses off. It’s all about me and if I can figure it out I’ll be your ruler for life.

  2. I think it is entirely proper that this feral Marxist is skipping the ceremony. his presence would only
defile the solemnity of the occasion. Far better for him on that day to play 18 holes, smoke a blunt, and watch Sportscenter.

  3. I’ll bet President Obama does not want to go to Gettysburg on the anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address because decorum will demand that President Obama exhibit some deference to one of the greatest American speeches, and to the man who wrote and delivered it. Deference to another person, living or dead, is not in President Obama’s make-up. I think it’s as simple as that.

I do not like President Obama’s policies, but I would have a lot more respect for him than I do now if he went to Gettysburg on Nov. 19, and did the following (which I would recommend to any President on a Gettysburg Address anniversary): Briefly pay tribute to Lincoln’s genius with words and note that Lincoln’s core messages apply as much today as in 1863, repeat the Gettysburg Address, then simply leave the stage. I doubt such a plan appeals to President Obama’s ego.

  4. The whole Lincoln “connection” never made any sense to me in the first place. It makes even less sense now, in that he seeks to reinstate slavery (of doctors to everyone). Better he not go, than go and possibly try to take credit for the Gettysburg Address.

  5. repeat the Gettysburg Address, then simply leave the stage. I doubt such a plan appeals to President Obama’s ego.

Yeah, fat chance. The word ‘I’ does not appear in the Gettysburg Address. And it’s short.
