    1. Hey, the Left, and the Press in particular, tip far harder then we do. The Press adored Hitler, up to the point he attacked Stalin, and they have not forgiven Joe Lieberman for being right too soon. Ah, it will be fun to watch…..

  1. Nov, 18, 2013: we’re seeing what looks very much like a preference cascade

Aug 31, 2013 – there seems to be a preference cascade developing on the lack of both hap and feck with this president

Oct 18, 2012: The Preference Cascade. Just in time for Halloween, a scary campfire story. If you’re an Obama supporter, that is.

Sep 2, 2012: I think that we’re going to see a huge preference cascade, and it may already be happening.

The anti-Obama “preference cascade” has become Rand’s Great Pumpkin.

      1. A 6 point drop isn’t much of a “cascade”.

It’s definitely possible that Obama’s approval rating could continue to decline, and eventually plumb the depths that Bush’s reached in 2006 and 2007. And I understand the inclination to keep expecting that; I spent the 2000s wondering when Bush’s policies would catch up with him. But I think it’s unlikely that we’ll see a repeat. Healthcare.gov is as much an indictment of Obama’s management as Katrina was of Bush’s, but it’s much more fixable, and much less dire in its consequences. The Obamacare rollout will continue to be rocky, but it’s nothing compared to the disintegration of Iraq. Obama could get hit by a disaster on the scale of the financial crisis or 9/11, but it’s unlikely; that sort of thing (fortunately) doesn’t happen very often.

So I stand by my prediction that come 2016, at least 50% of Americans will look at their choices for president and wish that we didn’t have the 22nd amendment.

        1. “Healthcare.gov is as much an indictment of Obama’s management as Katrina was of Bush’s”

Bush didn’t have 5 years to plan for Katrina. Obamacare was a man made disaster and Katrina was a natural disaster. If you want to say Obama created a policy that is as destructive as Katrina, then roll with it but expect to be made fun of.

“but it’s much more fixable, and much less dire in its consequences. ”

Well sure because you can’t stop nature from throwing hurricanes at you. As far as dire consequences it depends on who you mean. It may mean nothing to Obama cultists support for their party or their tyrant but for people who have to live under the new system, the consequences are quiet dire.

“The Obamacare rollout will continue to be rocky, but it’s nothing compared to the disintegration of Iraq. ”

Ya, Obama’s handling of Iraq is a disgrace. Not sure why you are bringing it up as a defense for how horrible Obamacare is.

“Obama could get hit by a disaster on the scale of the financial crisis or 9/11,”

Obama is pumping up a massive bubble in the stock market by printing money. Will Obama be out of office before the crash? Who knows but whomever is the next president will have to clean up that mess. It will be really tricky to wind it down.

“So I stand by my prediction that come 2016, at least 50% of Americans will look at their choices for president and wish that we didn’t have the 22nd amendment.”

You might be onto something but I think the number is a little closer to 47% that represent the Democrat base who are enjoying the ride into tyranny.

        2. So I stand by my prediction that come 2016, at least 50% of Americans will look at their choices for president and wish that we didn’t have the 22nd amendment.

I think that’s underestimating it. By 2016 I think up to 65% of Americans will want George W back in the White House.

    1. Between using the IRS to attack opponents, the manipulation of unemployment numbers, and the malicious prosecutions of various elected Republicans you have to wonder how things would have been different had the Obama administration not done these things or if the press had reported on them. This is especially true considering the veil is now lifted on Obama’s dishonesty regarding his signature policy achievement. What else is Obama lying about?

Our foreign allies are upset because Obama lies to them and stabs them in the back. People on the right are upset because Obama and the Democrats treat them worse than the Taliban. Obama treats his own party with contempt by constantly lying to them and sending them out to do battle on the internet only to have lie after lie undercut their credibility. When are Democrats going to hold their party accountable for not only the immoral and illegal actions of the administration but their party at large?

          1. Don’t believe everything you read, particularly when it’s based on a single anonymous source who wasn’t even at the Census Bureau at the time in question.

  2. So Jim, I see you are following the “Obamcare is like Katrina” talking point. I’m curious if you can think for yourself. If Obamacare is Katrina, who is going to become Michael Brown and resign?

And keep believing your fantasy that a 6pt change isn’t a cascade. Obama’s approval has dropped 4 points since what you predicted as a disastrous shutdown for the GOP. What’s more, the generic Congressional ballot polls have swung to the GOP. The 2014 elections are before 2016, and the White House’s predicted 93 million people will be notified of losing their employer insurance in October 2014.

    1. If Obamacare is Katrina, who is going to become Michael Brown and resign?

Sibelius should offer, but I doubt he’d accept it, because he knows he could never get a replacement confirmed.

the White House’s predicted 93 million people will be notified of losing their employer insurance in October 2014

      What are you talking about?

      1. What are you talking about?

I offered a link before. Now, I’m happy you are ignorant. Stay ignorant, because it will be that much more fun when you learn how Obama screwed the Democrat Party in 2014.
