  1. Definitely the right call. I’m pretty sure the snorkels are equivalent to the WWII shark ‘repellant’ bags that sailors were given: they’ll do nothing at best. Based on the way water reacts in zero-g shown by Chris Hadfield (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMtXfwk7PXg), the water will just coat everything with a thin layer. I see the absorbent cloths mentioned as being more useful in case of a leak.

    For some reason, when I think of being covered in a thin layer of water in space, my eyes start tearing.
