This reminds me of the economic conditions in the late 70s and early 80s. The tail end of the Baby Boomers ran into a series of recessions, oil shocks, the start of global outsourcing, higher prices for everything used by their cohort (particularly real estate), etc. The “Millennial” generation has a lot going against it these days and they made it worse by helping to vote in Obama. Oh well.
How exactly will the IRS collect penalties from millions of off-the-books youth who choose not to buy coverage?
