  1. From the article, it’s not completely clear whether it was a federal IRS person who released her tax records or a Deleware state employee. It was wrong in either case and should be prosecuted.

    1. Nor is it clear that there was any wrongdoing connected to anyone in the administration, much less to Obama himself.

The Christie and Walker stories are a reminder of what real scandals look like: you have emails or testimony that connect the principal to the wrongdoing. To date the IRS story has had none of that.

      1. So why hasn’t the culprit been prosecuted then? Protected from above perhaps?

By the way, how’s your health care enrollment coming along?

That’s one explanation, but there are many others. It isn’t as if 100% of criminal acts in general lead to prosecution.

Great — our new insurance cards didn’t arrive until a couple weeks into January, but we’ve been able to fill prescriptions, and haven’t had any problems.

How about evidence that they are actually trying to catch anyone? There’s plenty of examples of law breaking where the Obama administration doesn’t even try to act like it’s enforcing the law, for example, Fast and Furious, several cases of perjury to Congress, and suppression of evidence in the Benghazi investigation.

          2. That’s great, Jim, only about 6 weeks, record time for government business!

But I’m afraid the surgery for progressive head-up-backside disease isn’t covered by the ACA.

      2. Hmmm the Walker stories? Was that where a Democrat government worker used his office for political purposes and raided a bunch of Republican’s homes and businesses? Haven’t heard much about that one since the victims were not allowed to speak about it.

I agree the corruption spreads out far beyond the administration.

    1. The Christie and Walker emails show examples of abuse of public office for political purposes. Do you think that means such corruption is a party wide problem?

      1. They are not even in the same class as abuses by Democrats. And with Democrats, there actually is evidence of party wide corruption considering how expansive they have been throughout the country. The things the Democrats are doing isn’t isolated incidents they are part of a pattern of long term deep seated corruption.
