I think he could easily become a Senator if he wanted to. President is more complicated.
What’s the batting average for US Presidential candidates winning an election without being prior either a Governor or a Senator?
Well George H. W. Bush wasn’t, but he was a VP. But I don’t think anyone’s ever gone straight to the White House from mayor, even of New York.
Billary is in for an “interesting time.” We’ve seen enough to know that they have plenty to fear of an enemy, of either party, controlling the DoJ.
I would wonder how they will react to a serious rival: play nice, or a desperate fight to the death?
