The Farook Family Arsenal

Yes, the least suspicious thing about their activities was the number of rounds they had on hand. It really isn’t unusual for target shooters. particularly when people are reasonably concerned about supply, do either to intermittent heavy demand demand by law enforcement agencies, or threats of of purchase limits.

The number of pipe bombs and IEDs, on the other hand, is quite atypical.

  1. A decade ago when I was active in competition shooting, I would go through 3,000 rounds per year in matches and practice. At times I would have 1,000 rounds on hand.

    1. It seems to me that banning bomb precursor chemicals such as dihidrogen monoxide would work. Doing so would be every bit as sensible and effective as Obama’s idea, and far more legal.

  2. There are thousands of competitive shooters in this country who would laugh at the size of that “arsenal”. 2.5k wouldn’t even cover a NCAA Rifle Match.

    1. That’s pretty much it. Her visa application listed an address in Pakistan that does not exist, and her name happens to be a common pseudonym for jihadis. Great due diligence, DHS!

This is the same government that ignored warnings from foreign intel agencies on one of the Boston Marathon bombers, and also issued Mohammed Atta a student visa 6 months AFTER he became the world’s second-most-famous terrorists and dead.

Yet, the drooling moron in the white house assures us that the Syrian refugees he’s so keen to import will be vetted, so nothing to worry about. But, he wants to keep us safe by banning people on the no-fly list from buying guns, in spite of the fact that no mass shooters or terrorists attackers in the US have appeared on said list.
