“Assault Weapons”

Support for banning them reaches a twenty-year low.

Part of the problem is that the nimrods who want to ban them can’t even consistently explain what they are, or understand what a semi-automatic gun is. And you’re a complete numbskull if (like Barack Obama and Josh Earnest) you imagine that terrorist attacks are going to make us more eager to be disarmed.

  1. This is the same white house that is STILL describing the San Bernadino terrorist attack as “gun violence”. They keep avoiding the T-word.

By that logic, 9/11 was airliner violence.

At this juncture, I am finding it harder and harder to attribute this administration’s stance on terrorism as stupidity. The word that now comes to mind is Quisling.

  2. I don’t believe for even a second that Obama thinks terrorist attacks will make want to be disarmed.

This is solely to give his supporters a means to pretend he’s doing something. They don’t even need to believe it themselves. They just need to act like they have a plan to stop the next attack, if only the Republicans would let them.
