  1. In some ways, large organized attacks may be easier to stop, because the more people are involved in planning and preparing for it, the more possibilities for someone, somewhere to slip up and give themselves away. But if they aren’t found out and caught, they’ll do a lot more mayhem than two or three people who’ve taken a wild hair to strike a blow for Allah.

It also ensures that it’s only a matter of time before they do something so big and nasty that the gloves come off and they get the Thirty Years’ War v2.0 that Islam’s been asking for since the 1970’s. And they’re going to learn a very painful lesson in the difference between weakness and restraint — the last time around, parts of Central Europe were depopulated by 50%, and that was with matchlock muskets and solid-shot cannon. With today’s weapons, a religious war is apt to end with significant parts of the Middle East melting into glowing green glass.
