The DNC media has FOIA’d his wife’s communications from her time as a local office holder in Chevy Chase. Is going after the family of a nominee like this unprecedented? I don’t know but she did hold public office so it seems like a different situation.
What is strange is that the NYT didn’t aggressively use FOIA to learn more about Obama and Hillary. Maybe Kavanagh’s wife should dust her archives like Hillary did.
