  1. The Democrats are running a conflation campaign. When they talk about obstruction, it is being conflated with congressional investigations and the SC. The same is true with a cover up.

Cover up is being used to claim that because Trump isn’t cooperating with congressional investigations, he is engaged in a cover up. A cover up of what? Well, Democrats need to find a crime first and for that they need to do the investigations.

Part of the conflation campaign is making contradictory claims like in the tweet. It links the two unrelated issues together. While making fun of them for being stupid, it is important to recognize they are actually engaged in a carefully crafted deceit and the media is participating.

A good example of this was back in the campaign and how Hillary’s emails from lawsuits, FOIA requests, and congressional investigations were conflated with the DNC hack. It was very clever and many people were influenced to think that something that came from a Judicial Watch lawsuit was actually obtained illicitly by Wikileaks.

    1. The Democrats indeed are inventing a simple story that a crime must have occurred and that they can’t identify it is because it was covered up. It is certainly easy to point at this and mock it as silly. But to date, they have been very successful with this.

Democrats didn’t gain the Senate, which was a saving grace; but they did get the House and made gains in the various State governments. They also seem to have gotten away with their own collusion with foreign governments and local media. And while I don’t know if a crime was committed; it seems awfully strange that districts with a 5 pts lead at the end of election night ended up losing by .5 pt (and down ballots moved at many as 18pts.).

The real shame to date is that nothing has been done about the Democrat abuse of office. There is no one (including me) that seriously believes Hillary Clinton will ever be held to account. So why believe Comey or Brennan will be held to account? Strzok was lauded as a hero in Congressional testimony, even though the most accurate description was why such an honest and reliable man would cheat on his wife with one of his coworkers. No matter, he still has pension.

These declassifications will only matter if action is taken on them. Firing isn’t sufficient for some of these crimes of abuse of authority. While my overall preference is the authority gets stripped from these offices such that it cannot be abused; I’d at least settle for the abusers to face harsh punishment. To date, I’ve seen them just get book deals, which serves as pats on the back for doing what Democrats wanted them to do.

That’s not justice and, if it continues, this country will be in worse shape for allowing it to proceed.

  2. Everyone knows that when something is transparent, you can’t see it. The ultimate cover up.
