It is interesting how they frame it as Trump vs China and that we are losing and that we are losing because we don’t have enough government. There is history prior to Trump taking office.
We don’t need society wide support or a NASA with Social Security budget numbers. What we do need is the government to create conditions for our companies to thrive on their own, which is walking a tightrope between government actions hurting and helping.
The other frame is that what is going on is a race. How is the winner determined? Where is the finish line? What are the rules? The most important question, are all the contestants playing the same game?
We aren’t in a race. There is no finish line. We are in a competition and the competition wont end. Everyone competing are also playing their own game.
