  1. No they don’t. It’s probably time for a house cleaning.

    What is more interesting are these numbers from 2017. The vast majority of Virginians are not one per-centers (see link #2 below). It will be interesting to map these figures going forward over the years the Dems are in power. Virginia has a plethora of low rate taxes and only 4 tax brackets. We’ll see how this changes over time. You’ll need Excel or an Excel compatible spreadsheet app for the 2nd link.

  2. My one Virginia impression was the politeness of motorists to pedestrians, certainly in Alexandria. If you so much as think of crossing the street, cars come to a halt and motorists motion you across. I had asked my host whether this was the result of Southern Hospitality or of rigorous traffic enforcement by the police force of the Commonwealth.

    The latter was suggested.
