The Walls Are Closing In

on the Democrats.

I hope so. They’ve gotten away with too much, for far too long, going all the way back to the nineties, aided and abetted by the “mainstream” press.

[Update a few minutes later]

Link included now, sorry.

And there’s this: Yes, the president’s acquittal was real, and it was spectacular. And yes, the impeachment wasn’t just a waste of time; it was very damaging.

[Update a while later]

Sigh…

Link is now not just included, but correct.

[Update early afternoon]

The media hate the Frankenstein’s monster they created.

[Monday morning update]

This post is snake bit. I’ve added the link for the last one.

  1. Nice thought….hope it turns out to be true. But your forgetting how much the main stream media protects the Dems. Like The Biden families large scale corruption extending for more than the Hunter Biden/Joe Biden debacle alluded to in the link

    1. Protect the Dems? The defenders of Democracy participated in an attempted coup. Without the media, Crossfire Hurricane couldn’t be carried out.

  2. “Link included now, sorry.”

    My system insists that

href=”http://I hope so. They’ve gotten away with too much, for far too long, going all the way back to the nineties.”

    isn’t a valid link.

  3. As I mentioned elsewhere if the Senate had some backbone they’d pass a resolution of censure against Speaker Pelosi for bringing a frivolous impeachment. Simple majority is all it would take. But there are probably too many RINOs in the Senate for it to pass.
(Mitt and Susan to the blue courtesy phone)…

    1. Things would get really interesting if anyone could establish that Nancy launched her “official impeachment” because she was afraid her son, Paul Pelosi Jr, might get fingered by Trump and Zelensky over his involvement with same fake soccer charity gig in Ukraine.
Pelosi Jr.’s business partner in that venture was a notorious international con man who is under house arrest, having been indicted for fraud in the Southern District of New York. That would trigger a raft of laws covering government officials that include the phrase “Whosoever, with corrupt intent….”

However, even if that was her primary purpose, I’m not sure she would have shared it with anyone, even in her inner circle.

    2. censure against Speaker Pelosi for bringing a frivolous impeachment

If not for that per say, then something for Pelosi and Schiff, both of whom claimed the impeachment was about Russian collusion without any investigative material or being a part of the articles of impeachment; so why do they keep saying that was the impeachment was all about? This continuous lie from Democrats deserves censure.

    3. Each house sets its own rules and I think censure has only ever been applied by each house to its own members for violating its own rules.

A motion during the trial to censure the House managers for their conduct might have been feasible, since it’s a unique case, but agin it could really only be applied by people in the Senate chamber — and I think it’s really supposed to be up to the Chief Justice, presiding, to enforce decorum, etc., during the trial.

There should be some way to penalize House leadership for wasting the country’s time like this, but the Founding Fathers assumed the voters would tke care of it. I think they also assumed each House member would have a much smaller constituency than is the case now…

          1. How about a simple Senate resolution against frivolous impeachment. Not a censure just a statement “don’t waste our time”. Let’s call it Preposition H?

          2. Heh.

And I notice Manchin is floating “censure” as an alternative to removal. Arlen Specter suggested this when Clinton was in the dock, but ISTR only he and the media morons bought into it.

  4. The media hate the Frankenstein’s monster they created.

Was there supposed to be a link for this as well?

    1. I worry about the revolving door of Marxists between academia, government (deep state) and the media.

  5. Hahaha. The Democrats have advanced the science of democracy to the point where vote totals are unnecessary. The top 3 announced pre-winners in order were Klobuchar, Biden and Warren. With Biden and Warren stepping on each other speeches. If you love the Democrat Iowa caucuses you’ll love their governance.

    1. Let’s just follow the Democrat’s lead and have Trump announce himself the pre-winner in the general election for 2020 at the SOTU speech….
