  1. Bear in mind before the 2016 election, Adams declared support for Hillary because he “feared for his life” if he endorsed Trump. This may be similar theater.

      1. Yes, I got there through another browser. I have these issues frequently with Chrome and Firefox. Server errors, and other such nonsense block me directly. I also listen to a conservative talk station, WMAL, through the computer or through their iPhone app. Chrome and Firefox every few days take turns rendering the “listen live” feature useless. Even the app gets blocked by the advertisers, who pop up an initial ad that you can’t close.

  2. Take all poll results with a giant grain of salt. The polls have not been accurate for a long time. There are several reasons for this. With people dropping their land lines, they’re less likely to answer a pollster’s phone call. Even if they do answer the call, would you tell a stranger in this current radical environment that you’re planning on voting for Trump? They have your phone number and likely can track down a lot of info about you. Seriously, I’d never answer the call in the first place, but if I did, I would lie.

  3. I consider it my patriotic duty to mislead pollsters. Voting matters, opinion polls should not.

The push-polling done by the parties is particularly annoying. “Do you support the (baffle-gab of the day) issue? Will you contribute $25 this week to ensure THOSE people don’t prevent (baffle-gab)?

    1. “I consider it my patriotic duty to mislead pollsters. Voting matters, opinion polls should not.” Agreed. Especially the ones by the so-called main stream media.

“…would you tell a stranger in this current radical environment that you’re planning on voting for Trump? They have your phone number and likely can track down a lot of info about you.”

Yuppers…don’t trust them either; only “poll” that counts is the one on election day that is how we cast our ballot.

      1. One of the pollsters who called 2016 correctly didn’t ask people who they’d vote for, they asked people who their neighbors were going to vote for, on the theory that the media had made Trump support so toxic that too many folks wouldn’t admit to it. But if they could claim they were talking about their crazy neighbor, they’d be forthcoming.

Polling has been broken for a while, and the examples are piling up. So far I haven’t heard any polling company claim they’d figured out the problem or implemented any kind of real fix.

Of course once an even a relatively small fraction of the public starts lying to pollsters, polling becomes absolutely useless. Polling is based on getting truthful answers to questions. If people aren’t truthful, fancy statistics won’t help.

  4. From 2nd link”

Adams explained that the shield behind which the social media giants operate is so impenetrable that even he, with his fame, wealth, and connections, cannot prove if he’s being deliberately censored. All he can do is suspect that something’s going on.

“As an example of the way in which YouTube puts its thumb on the scale, Adams discussed what was then a hot topic: The video of Pelosi slurring her words, and therefore appearing drunk or demented, which YouTube removed because it was “doctored.” Adams pointed out the innumerable other doctored videos that stay on the platform. Also, there there are readily available examples of the original video so that people can draw their own conclusions about whether Pelosi was actually slurring or not. YouTube’s/Google’s problem with the video, obviously, wasn’t the doctoring; it was that it made Nancy Pelosi look bad.”

Yes. The slurred speech (Pelosi’s) video did seem to disappear quickly. I also wonder if you can still find the Biden one where he rambles on incoherently about kids’ playing with his “leg hairs” or some such. To say nothing of many examples of his incoherent speech.

    1. What would any of the fringe parties do about technocratic fascism, illegal immigration, and the impending Year Zero?
