Catering to the “sportsball” millennials won’t save them.
Hey, I’m all for this. The vast majority of players probably do want to be in this protest, and I don’t see them looting anybody.
They can protest. The NBA may or may not survive, but as long as they aren’t hurting random strangers they can do whatever they want to protest.
I don’t always watch people destroy their lower extremities by obeying arbitrary rules but when I do I watch ballet.
I think they should burn down their own stadiums. That will show their willingness to strike a blow for justice. After the NBA collapses, and with it revenue-generating professional sports, then perhaps younger kids will realize that the way out of the hood isn’t basketball or football, it’s learning to read.
