  1. What chance do you think the electors won’t elect Biden? I would put it at less than 1%. Expecting any other result is just being out of touch with reality. I wish it weren’t so but reality has to be faced.

    1. I think that even if incontrovertible evidence of election fraud of scale enough to swing the election were proved in the states in question that the electors would still vote for Biden because of the social pressure and knowledge that Democrats would burn the country to the ground in riots worse that what we have seen the past year. Moving forward with relative peace is more important than a single election.

What that doesn’t address is the corruption of our federal system, fixing election integrity going forward, or the fascistic use of companies to excommunicate Democrat’s enemies from society. It only staves off widespread murder and mayhem in the short term but spoiler alert, Democrats will continue to use violence against their political opponents. The current wave of Democrat violence didn’t start with Trump, it started with Obama. It has been effective and it will continue and once again, it will happen with the backing of the federal government.

Agreed. Unless the Republican controlled legislatures in Penn, Michigan and Wisconsin act. They should in the wake of these indisputable “anomalies” announce their attention two reassert their Constitutional Article II rights and appoint their own Republican electors. Do I believe they have the will to do so? Unfortunately I would say no, I wish it were otherwise.

“Sen. Paul Calls Out ‘Anomalies in Vote Counts,’ Big Tech”

Count Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., as an election “statistical anomaly” skeptic and one wary of big tech censorship of conservative voices.

Paul noted President Donald Trump’s “margin of ‘defeat'” was covered by overnight “data dumps” in four key battleground states.

    Paul tweeted:

“Interesting . . . Trump margin of “defeat” in 4 states occurred in 4 data dumps between 1:34-6:31 AM. Statistical anomaly? Fraud? Look at the evidence and decide for yourself.(That is, if Big Tech allows u to read this) Anomalies in Vote Counts; https://votepatternanalysis.substack.com/p/voting-anomalies-2020

On cue, Twitter slapped a “this claim about election fraud is disputed.”

The voting anamolies outlined by the report linked to by Paul are:

•”An update in Michigan listed as of 6:31AM Eastern Time on November 4th, 2020, which shows 141,258 votes for Joe Biden and 5,968 votes for Donald Trump
•An update in Wisconsin listed as 3:42AM Central Time on November 4th, 2020, which shows 143,379 votes for Joe Biden and 25,163 votes for Donald Trump
•A vote update in Georgia listed at 1:34AM Eastern Time on November 4th, 2020, which shows 136,155 votes for Joe Biden and 29,115 votes for Donald Trump
•An update in Michigan listed as of 3:50AM Eastern Time on November 4th, 2020, which shows 54,497 votes for Joe Biden and 4,718 votes for Donald Trump”

    According to the data study:

“In particular, we are able to quantify the extent of compliance with this property and discover that, of the 8,954 vote updates used in the analysis, these four decisive updates were the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th most anomalous updates in the entire data set. Not only does each of these vote updates not follow the generally observed pattern, but the anomalous behavior of these updates is particularly extreme. That is, these vote updates are outliers of the outliers.”

The Republican have the facts but I don’t think they have the guts to act on them unfortunately for the country. Hope the post isn’t too long.

    1. Who wouldn’t believe that Biden got more votes than Obama?

Have there been any articles dissecting the Biden campaign’s strategy in predicting and boosting turnout in these key voting districts? You think the media would be crowing about it.

    2. Apparently pointing out those anomalies hasn’t gotten any traction in a court of law, or is this appeals process clanking along?

Do the physical ballots match up against the tallies in all four states? If that is the case, can we rule out the Dominion angle that Sidney Powell is claiming?

That leaves us with “ballot harvesting” and then “filling in blank ballots.”

As to ballot harvesting, in a perfect world, the officials in Pennsylvania would have heeded Justice Alito’s emergency order and separated the mail-in ballots. Then signatures on the ballot envelopes could have been checked against voter registration rolls?

As to making up ballots, the concern is the large number of ballots voting the top line, only? Is it possible to examine those ballots as to their marking, whether they suggest that they were “mass produced” as has been charged?

I get a sense that no one with custody of the ballots wants to look into any of this. I guess the Corrupt Bargain, to use a phrase from a 19th century US election, is that one side gets Mr. Trump out of office and the other side gets to nurse permanent outrage that they were robbed?

Is this what we as a society really want?

      1. Or in the Justice Department, William Barr says they haven’t found any evidence of widespread fraud. The FBI is expert at forensic accounting, so they’d have been able to establish if these putative anomalies are anything other than internet echo chamber bullshit.

  3. Leaving ~50% of the voting public feeling disenfranchised is not healthy for a democracy. There are innumerable ways 🙂 to fix our election system that would make it nearly fraud proof. I haven’t heard a good argument why voter registration should be at least as thorough as the process to obtain a passport. The onerous system in place for obtaining a passport isn’t viewed as racist, why should a similar system for voting be? But do I expect the ‘Democratic’ party to go along with that? No. They want to stay with the CF system that we have now. And that’s the kind of corruption that leads to revolutions or maybe successions. Happened once, could happen again.

    1. We really need to make sure that a voter can be identified, that a vote can be matched to an individual, and that the digital copy matches their paper ballot.

      1. We really need individual votes to be secret, which is kind of antithetical to “vote matched to an individual”.

I’ve been thinking that maybe ballots should have serial numbers on them, with records kept of which serial numbers are sent to which polling places or mailed to which individuals. The twist would be that not all ballots would have unique serial numbers. Each lot of 500 or so ballots would be given the same serial number, which would make individual votes about as secret as they are now. But being able to trace any given ballot to a lot of ~500 would complicate life for anyone who wants to dump a load of ballots that were just “found” somewhere. And of course, if 1500 ballots end up having the same serial number …

        1. I think serial numbers on ballots are a good idea and should be randomly assigned to voters each election cycle. But within a cycle it’s one-to-one. The trick to keeping it secret is that the ballot consists of two parts, each with the serial number. The first part has the vote boxes, the second part has spaces for the voter to fill in name and address and a place to sign and is set up as a tear off. After the voter fills out their ballot and signs it, they tear off the name, address and signature section, put the filled out vote section in a special envelope that only exposes the serial number and presents both to an election official who then verifies that the serial numbers match, validates the ballot tear off against the registered voter roll and then allows the voter to place their ballot in the box The voter keeps their signed name and addressed serial numbered tear off as a receipt which they can dispose of at his/her leisure. In close elections they can demand to inspect their ballot by presenting their receipt.

No mail in. Absentee yes. But don’t lose your ballot or you are done. Take some responsibility as a voter, ok?

          1. And the day after the election, your employer and/or your union shop steward demand to “borrow” your receipt for a while as a condition of continued employment and/or union membership. Or the local powers-that-be kindly send someone to your house to pick it up. “Hey, nice house you got here; nice family you got here; be a shame if something were to happen to it. Now let’s have that receipt.”

They wouldn’t really have to “borrow” the receipt; they would just need to see it long enough to copy the serial number. Do you really think that if someone from Cook County Democratic Headquarters shows up at the County Recorder’s Office (or wherever you would go to inspect your ballot) and asks to see ballots #mmmmmm through #nnnnnn, there will really be any difficulty over the fact that they are not actually in possession of receipts for those ballots?

  4. The only reason we don’t “know” at this point is we’re still waiting to see if Trump and his enablers pull some kind of coup.

“The case for Trump having won the election is so preposterous that the only explanation [for continued resistance to admitting the obvious] is that the losing side does not like the results.” — Dave Wasserman, House editor of the nonpartisan Cook Political Report.
