  1. The article mentioned not publishing last names as a way to protect the individuals involved.

Of course, those quoted in the article might not be that hard to find since they provided a first name, age, and hometown, especially if they’re from a small town.

It’s odd how easily people can be inadvertently doxxed these days, and also sad that we even have to think of such things.

    Just a thought.

  2. What a great smile! I love the patriotic garb from head to toe. I thought at first that as a conservative she would have a fair amount of pushback from her fellow Wisconsin residents, but then again that state may be like most others, liberals concentrate in the cities and the folks in the countryside may solidly share her beliefs

  3. Even a freewall (“register to keep reading”) makes me close the window, Epoch Times.

Which is funny, since I wouldn’t mind actually paying a small amount of CASH, since I approve of their “rabidly anti-Communist” credentials and they do some good reporting.

But that’s the worst way to try and monetize; because I know damn well that registering and giving them my email just means stupid emails I’ll instantly unsubscribe from or block, and it’s just not worth even engaging.

      1. Not too often, but sometimes I imagine a parallel universe where Nigerian Prince spam emails get responded to, burner email accounts are opened and read in their entirety, and XP virtual machines are kept alive and never rebooted or flushed from a main system’s memory.
