Anyone who followed his role WRT HLV & AIDS knew from the start that he was a lying POS.
I was hoping Trump would have put together a “B” team of respected virologists and public health scientists at the time to “fact check” Fauci’s pronouncements.
Fauci has been wrong but so has Zimmerman and while Fauci has been condescending, irrational, and strident, so has Zimmerman.
Masks weren’t advertised as preventing you from getting sick but from you getting other people sick. They also weren’t billed as being 100% effective but a low cost way to mitigate risk.
The mask Nazi freaking out about the teeny tiny number who didn’t want to wear them wasn’t helpful. They are jerks. The anti-mask Nazi are also jerks who aren’t helpful.

The one thing I infer from these statements, chained together and inter-sectioned as sets in set theory, is that Nazi’s are jerks regardless of whether they are masked or not.
I don’t disagree.
It should be noted though that while some anti-mask people are jerks, they aren’t the ones beating people, following people around stores yelling at them, or calling the cops.
The mask controversy was meant as a decoy – something for everyone else to argue about while Fauci didn’t have to defend withholding livesaving medications because of fraudulent data.
