Yeah, this one is beyond logic and such pure pork that I find it hard to believe it will get past a Democrat controlled House.
Why would you think a democrat controlled anything might stop pork from being passed?
Cause the democrats think they have better ways to spend pork than in states and part of the states that hasn’t gone democrat at the national level since the democrat have gone anti confederacy nationally the last 25 years.

Yea, and if John Brown was resurrected today which party do you think he would most likely associate himself with nowadays? Which party would support him? and which would want to hang him again?
That is a question so stupid, that I cannot imagine how to even begin to answer it.
OK, I’ll just say that if John Brown was resurrected today, he would most likely see that the Democrats still have their black slaves on plantations, except in a different form, and he would be (again) a Republican.
I’m still waiting to meet a Democrat that doesn’t judge people by the color of their skin.

If John Kennedy returned today, his patriotism and love of country would compel him to be a Republican..
The Civil War is over and much work was put into uniting the North and South as one country again and it is only in the last thirteen years that Democrats have sought to tear the country apart by refusing to respect the peace.
That isn’t exactly true, as we all know Democrats didn’t respect the peace after the war either and created the KKK, Jim Crow laws, and Segregation. Just like Democrats lynched Republicans after the Civil War, they lynch them now while reinstituting segregation and Jim Crow.
Considering all the sins of the Democrat party, they should be very careful in their pursuit of Social Justice. How is it that a party that wants to purge George Washington and Abraham Lincoln from society will escape Progressive Fascist scrutiny of their own behavior?
Spoiler: They wont. The Progressive Fascists will turn on the Democrats in a heart beat. Obama is already leading the way.
OK, you do bring up an excellent point. Democrats are ruthless in rewarding and punishing their friends and enemies. What is ethical, just, or good for the country falls behind consideration for how the federal budget can be weaponized, which we can tell by how you phrased why they would reject the spending.

I don’t see the problem? In fact, I think this is the first step in the right direction for SLS. The best result, of course, would be to reserve all SLS core stages for use as permanent test articles at Stennis (thereby creating a lot of jobs at Stennis).
That way, they’d achieve a much higher safety rating for SLS due to reducing the risk of an in-flight failure by 100%.
I like your logic. Followed to its logical conclusion what we have is a system of Federal bribes to keep NASA from interfering with commercial companies that are actually opening Space. Or to look at it another way. It’s a way to keep companies like SpaceX safe from going down on the mat under the weight of the full Nelson…..
