They don’t treat people as competent human being beings capable of making their own choices and people don’t respond well to force. Another tactic they use is fear, they lie about everyone dying and all of the lockdowns and other measures will have to go on forever. They also use insults, as if people will suddenly agree to do what you are forcing them to do if you call them names.
It is almost as if the persuasion strategy is designed to fail, and I think that is the case. Democrats want to create chaos and wedge different groups of people and as long as the pandemic goes on, the more emergency powers they seize.
The bulk of the still masked here in Granville County, NC, are black working class.
