  1. Biden, Buttigieg, and some of the other morons are pressuring Trudeau, Rob Ford, and other Canadian leaders into arresting all the protesting truckers, throwing them in jail for a year, revoking their licenses, and seizing their trucks. That’s going to make Afghanistan look like a stunning success, by comparison. The people in charge on both sides of the border have the combined IQ of a rutabaga.

The press and Democrat politicians are abandoning the strict Covid measures, claiming that “the science changed”, so everybody whose not a Karen stuck in a Twitter bubble knows the vaccine mandates will have to be dropped soon. That’s a guaranteed outcome, and what the truckers are demanding. Thus Trudeau’s side is guaranteed to lose because they’re going to end up doing what the truckers have been demanding, and the only question is how humiliating that loss will be. So of course Biden jump right in the sinking ship with Trudeau. As they say, Biden is always wrong on every serious issue.

J&J, doubling down on taking oxyacetylene torches to our supply chain.

    2. Enh, they will just change their position on masks and mandates and pretend they never had any other view and if you say otherwise, it is just evidence you are racist and they will ban you from FB and Twitter so you can’t complain when they close your bank account.

  2. We have known all of this. It isn’t new. How come none of these media outlets critizing Biden over this are doing any original reporting on what life is like RIGHT NOW in Afghanistan?

We still have Americans trapped there and covering the debacle from the present rather than the past would be much more useful right now.

    1. I suspect the life expectancy of anyone trying to do serious journalism out of Afghanistan these days is rather short…

You don’t get beheaded for reporting on why Western culture is evil and should be replaced with tribalism.

      1. I’ve watched quite a few in-depth reports from the Beeb.

BBC Panorama: Afghanistan – A country at the breaking point

BBC Our World: Inside the Taliban Regime

The people are starving, the economy is in tatters, but the Taliban are quite open and pretty friendly, other than sometimes hunting down and killing people they have a grudge against. They seem to delight in telling reporters all about planting IED’s and such, almost in the vein of “The awesome things dad did during the war.”

I think the lack of US reporting is mostly because our press doesn’t want to remind people how badly Biden screwed up.
