The End Game In Ukraine

Thoughts on the fecklessness of the administration:

    1. It hasn’t been a bloodless thing for Ukraine or the USA but I hope they keep the momentum on their side for the next several weeks.

  1. My father’s side of the family came to the US in the 1870’s from an area west of Odessa, speaking German. Earlier generations of my family spoke Russian. Before them, the family spoke whatever the Turks were speaking at the time.

Folks who can’t defend themselves from tyrants can choose to participate in a community that can.

Thus I am American, a patriot, and am thankful that members of my family risked death on the ocean for a better life that led to me.

Ukraine/Russia/Turkey is the same nonsense playing out over centuries.

Stupid people, stupid cultures, stupid waste of time.

That’s what I learned from my great grand parents while they still lived.

  2. “What are they gonna do about the De-escalation faction?”

It wouldn’t matter if we didn’t decide to get involved in the first place. But that is in the past and we are in it. It would certainly be nice if our leaders played to win for a change.

The top several layers of the military, IC, and foreign policy agencies need to be fired.

  3. Thoughts on the fecklessness of the administration:

Huh? Dunno what Trent is whinging about. National Security Advisor Sullivian is down right hawkish compared to the 8 o clock hour on Fox, speaking of fecklessness.

Dunno George I like to see some movement in the south. The north is a mixed bag for Ukraine with the potential pro-Russian resistance in the area. Pushing south can really hurt the Russians, breaking the Crimean land bridge and threatening the Crimean bridge.

    1. Thing is, a lot of the Donetsk and Luhansk homeboys are now trapped on the west side of the Dnieper where they were sent in response to the Ukrainian head-fake toward Kherson. Well, semi-head-fake anyway. The Ukes are taking any targets of opportunity they can easily slurp up there too. But it seems the real show is in the Donbass. I speculated some weeks ago that the Ukes might be doing this in order to minimize opposition for a direct drive to Maripol. Looks like Izium got the nod instead.

  4. If, and it’s a big if, (Russians have an unfathomable tolerance for disastrous government) this leads to a Russia wide collapse, The sanctions and embargoes won’t matter anymore. Whoever ends up in charge probably won’t be able to turn the gas to Europe back on if they want to. Not this winter anyway.

    1. I can only see Putin “going nuclear” if the Ukrainians counter-invade and cross the border and head north towards Moscow…
