Interesting point that they do not use a gimbal mount for the satellite laser, rather orienting the (very small) satellite directly. I’d also curious to see how long they maintained the link with a LEO satellite, was it seconds, minutes or milliseconds?
Fresnel lens, because the Earth was really close in NEO…? Not that I know if something like that is even feasible.
