  1. It appears some conservatives are catching up:

“It is true, by the way, that “everyone agrees” with the point that Adams made. Everyone knows it is true. But no one is supposed to admit that it is true. Adams made it all worse by observing that “There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps . . . then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” Oh, wait. I got my notes confused. That wasn’t Scott Adams. That was the professional black Jesse Jackson in 1993.”

  2. The Ukraine war could be ended by inviting Russia into NATO.
But as with any country, to be accepted, a nation can’t have a border
despute. But we make exception with Russia, if Russia gives short enough timeline to resolved these disputes.

  3. I’m male, I’m white, I’ve been cancelled several times over the last few decades.

I remember. I’m also able to defend myself.

    As are my friends.

Make the best of what you think you actually can get away with.

History doesn’t repeat, but it’s helpful for imagining what you actually can predict.

  4. “You see, I understand you men were just playin’ around, but the mule, he just doesn’t get it. Course, if you were to all apologize… [the men laugh] I don’t think it’s nice, you laughin’. You see, my mule don’t like people laughin’. Gets the crazy idea you’re laughin’ at him.”
