So based on data for bristle-cone pines at an altitude equivalent of the tree line (3,470 meters above sea level, altitude effects ring growth rate) we have reported measured growth of .58 millimeters over 49 (call it 50) years. That works out to a rate of .0116 millimeters per year, yielding a tree ring growth of .1276 millimeters from the center outward for the duration of Rand’s trial so far.

  2. I see this in food policy and metabolic health. Rabid vegans and democrats (but I repeat myself) see ketogenic diets as harmful, and Carnivore as purely evil. On the other hand, Carnivores shrug and figure that if vegans want to suffer from B12 deficiency and diabetes, they are free to do as they please.
